![]() ![]() Any help would be appreciated, thanksĥ2 Farmall Cub Super A with single point hitch, harrows, subsoiler, planter, and turn plow. Naturally at the start of every season I would have to use the crank to get it started, which prompted papa to want to fix something. Which was enough to keep the battery charged while in use. Could the actual problem be with the generator after all?īefore all this started the am meter on the tractor read 7 or 8. The output on the generator shows maybe 1V just enough to move the meter when on 10V test. After starting the tractor the am meter shows zero. I removed the generator and had it tested at a local alternator shop which passed at which a regulator was ordered and installed. Right now we are having some issues with the 6V generator. We share a 1/4 acre garden that we work with the tractor every season. First of all I'm the grandson of a proud past share cropper who can not live without his 52 cub under the shed. After searching through all the endless info here I still have a question or two. ![]()
